I do not wish to change the course of history or solve the world's problems. I only wish to freeze time to stay in your arms and have the moment last. Is it too much to ask?. Perhaps. Still, I wish there were no past to look back on, no future to worry about, just the selfish pleasure of being exactly where I want to be.
The trouble with moments like these is that they end, and the world carries on as if nothing important has happened. In this case, once the song stops, the minutes keep marching, and life expects me to get on with it. How inconsiderate.
I just want to wrap myself around you and stay there. And that's where the trouble begins.
