WHAT A CLUSTER FUCK
Life?... Yikes, What a Clusterfuck
How is it that life can be so contradictory?
Beauty everywhere mixed with ugliness
Peace mixed with enmity
Sickness mixed with wholesomeness
Death mixed with new life.
Alright, let’s get real. Life is one gigantic, steaming pile of contradictions wrapped in a colourful, bullshit facade. See, losing Tim has left me drained. Confused. Afraid. Bitter. Some days, like today, I feel like a walking dumpster. I am trying to figure out how the hell the world could be such a sadistic prankster.
There is beauty everywhere, like the annoying perfect sunset that makes me want to puke from jealousy. And right next to it, ugliness so grotesque it makes me question humanity and whether people should be allowed to breed. Peace? Ha! Peace is that "friend" who promises to show up, but brings their asshole buddies Enmity and Bitterness to crash my party. Sometimes sickness drags my sorry ass down while health tries to slap on a fake smile pretending everything’s fine. And death? Death is the ultimate dickhead, uninvited, steals the spotlight, laughing like a maniac as new life pops up like a dumb sequel.
I am drowning in this shitshow of contradictions, feeling like life sucker-punched me in the gut and then kicked me while I am down. These days, every day is a reminder that some things are gone forever, and no amount of crying, screaming, or begging is going to bring them back.
But life doesn’t give a flying fuck about my pain. The sun still rises, the seasons keep changing, and the world spins like it’s got somewhere better to be. And in the middle of this beautiful clusterfuck, I realize that maybe this fucked-up cocktail of light and darkness is just what life is. It’s not a neat little puzzle I can solve. It’s an ugly and beautiful mess I have to survive.
And surviving that mess? That’s where the weird, bad-ass strength comes in. Not some Hallmark card “everything happens for a reason” crap, but a bold, “fuck it, I’m still standing” kind of strength. I have to remind myself that it’s okay to feel broken, to be cynical as hell, and to swear like a sailor on shore leave. But it’s also okay to find those rare moments of peace, to laugh my ass off at the absurdity of it all, and to see beauty even when I want to punch it in the face.
You may agreed or not, but life is a bitter, fucked-up pill to swallow. But it’s also a goddamn mess, painful, contradictory, and strangely still worth sticking around for. And if that’s not enough, well... fuck it. I keep going anyway, because what else am I gonna do? Sit around crying forever? I want to, but nope. I get up, swear a little more, and keep going, even if I have to bump into someone along the way.
